How are You today? I'm doing fine, still alive and kicking.
I hope You're doing OK, too.
I know that You must be really busy,
with all those hurricanes, floods and earthquakes...
but as God, I hope You'll spare a minute or two
to read this post (I know You will!).

I know that to some people, You are really unquestionable.
I mean whatever You do, You always do it for a reason.
And it's not ethical (?) for us humans to question that.

I completely understand that.
You see, I also share that same philosophy.
I believe that for everything, there is a reason.
Hoobastank even said that the reason is You.
He he he okay, bad joke.

Well, the thing is God, I suddenly got a lot of questions for You.
Don't blame me just yet or think me wrong.
I guess it's Your fault that You put a brain in the human body.

Anyway... for example,
You didn't made us to be goody-two-shoes angels
or bad-bad-naughty devils.
You made us in between. Humans.
It's like being in the middle child. The odd one out.

And You knew that we could either be bad or be good,
depending on the paths that we choose.
But what happens if we chose the wrong path?

Why would You punish us knowing You'll know we'll trip on our way?
Why is there Hell if You are as Merciful as they say?
Why did You keep saying that we started from You,
but erased any memory of You when we were born in this earth?
And then kinda forced us to remember You through Your prophets?

We now know that Earth is just a speck in this whole galaxy,
are you The God for Planet Earth or for the whole being of everything?
Do aliens really do exist?
Who really made those circular patterns in the cornfields?

As God Al Mighty, wouldn't you know how humans will end?
Wouldn't You know how I would end and be when I'm 30 or 40 or 50?
Wouldn't You know now that I might end up bad and go to Hell later?
Wouldn't You know now that I might end up good and maybe go to Heaven?
Wouldn't you know all those things by now?
I mean, You know who will die today or tomorrow.

You even know when is the D-Day for all humans, right?

But if You know all these things,
You know what will happen and what paths that we choose,
why do You keep us be?
Why do You let some of us go through the wrong paths?
And why do You let some of us suffer
when we're already following the right one?
Why do You like giving us puzzles?
Why can't you be more direct?
Why do You test us so much?
Why do You tease us so much?
Are we simply Your experimental guinea pigs?

It's not that I do not believe You exist or anything,
I'm just curious.
And since You made me this way,
You surely wouldn't be surprised if I questioned all these things.

And surely You know I wrote this not because I don't believe in You.
Because if I didn't believe in You,
I wouldn't be writing this to You.

Dear God...
I hope You're still reading this.
You are? OK good...

Well, they say that You can see us,
even when we hide in the dark.
They say that You can hear us,
though it's just a whisper in our heart.

But inspite all that,
I got a few wishes I want to ask of You.
I know that You won't change us if we won't change ourselves,
so I'm writing down my wishes in case
other humans come by my blog and read this.
Because I also believe that You are inside all us humans.

So, dear God... these are my wishes.

Strengthen our faith in You.
Forgive us if we have forgotten You.
Ease our suffer if our must fight for You.
Clear the fog away from the right path to You.
Tell those who are in the wrong path to turn around
and go back to the right one.
Please ease our confusion.
After all, we're only humans.
